Sanatan Dharma gives importance to festivals

Art, Beauty, Photography - Kishore Gupta - January 14, 2021

#Sanatan #Dharma gives importance to #festivals. It is important to have #enthusiasm and celebration in life.
God has given man the ability to laugh openly, celebrate, entertain and play. This is the reason why all Hindu festivals and rites have been incorporated by keeping them harmonious and sanskritised, to harmonize the dance, music and dishes. Celebration expands positivity, sociability and experiences in life.
While #Holi is another festival of colors, Deepawali is a festival of light. While dancing and fasting are given importance in Navratri, Ganesh Utsav and Shraddha Paksha get to eat good dishes.

Apart from this, we also celebrate the change in nature, like when the sun is Uttarayan on Makar Sankranti, the festive time begins and when the sun is Dakshinayan, the fasting time begins.

  • Winter-Autumn
  • Spring
  • Hemant
